SWISS and Eurowings have set 25 November for their return to Dubai, and British Airways was scheduled to resume its Heathrow service on 3 November. Gulf News reported on 2 November that British Airways' BA105 leaves Heathrow at 8.05pm on 3 November and the return BA104 leaves Dubai at 10am on 4 November, with one flight a day at first; that Lufthansa returns on 25 November with five weekly flights each from Frankfurt and Munich, SWISS with a daily Zurich service and Eurowings with a daily Berlin service from the same date, after both had postponed their returns without a new date; and that Austrian Airlines returns with five weekly Vienna flights from 12 December. The same report lists ITA Airways as suspended to 30 November, Cathay Pacific to 31 January 2027, Singapore Airlines to 28 February 2027, KLM to 27 March 2027 and Air Canada to the end of March 2027, with Finnair suspended for the winter season, Luxair's return postponed to February 2027 at the earliest, Korean Air suspended until further notice and no Virgin Atlantic return planned before 2027.
Gulf News's list for Tuesday 3 November shows Air Arabia's Sharjah flights to Bangladesh, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Doha, Beirut, Damascus, Aleppo, Malé, Colombo, Bangkok, Krakow, Moscow Domodedovo, Yekaterinburg, Entebbe and London Gatwick cancelled, alongside its Riyadh, Abha and Jizan services, and its Abu Dhabi flights to Bangladesh, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Sri Lanka and Syria. At Dubai International, EgyptAir's Cairo flights, Iraqi Airways' Erbil flights, airblue's Karachi flights and flydubai's Kathmandu, Asmara and Moscow Vnukovo flights were cancelled, and flights by flydubai, SpiceJet and Emirates were delayed, as were Pobeda, UTair and Azimuth flights at Dubai World Central; at Zayed International, arrivals from Tel Aviv, Tunis, Kochi, Chennai and Peshawar were delayed. Iranian airlines' flights to and from the UAE remain suspended.
Gulf News advises residents to check their flight status with the airline before going to the airport, to allow extra time, not to assume that a flight shown without a status is cancelled, to confirm resumption dates directly with the airline, and to expect higher demand around National Day on 2 and 3 December and the school winter break from 14 December to 3 January.
