Air Arabia's Sharjah flights to Kuala Lumpur, Salalah, London Gatwick, Athens, Kuwait and Doha were among the cancellations listed on 26 October. Gulf News's list for the day also shows Air Arabia's Sharjah flights to Cairo, Chattogram, Amman, Damascus, Entebbe and Yekaterinburg and five Moscow Domodedovo services cancelled, together with its Abu Dhabi flights to Yerevan, Dhaka, Alexandria, Cairo Sphinx, Sohag, Kuwait and Salalah, alongside its Saudi routes; Gulf News notes that not every cancellation is linked to the regional situation, as some are operational or technical. Among arrivals at Dubai International, FlyArystan from Aktobe, Iraqi Airways from Basra and Sulaymaniyah, Ethiopian Airlines from Addis Ababa, SpiceJet from Pune, Riyadh Air and Saudia from Riyadh and flynas from Gassim were cancelled, and Emirates' EK142 from Madrid operated under a different flight number for an operational reason.
Gulf News's briefing of 26 October said Dubai International and Zayed International continue to operate with select cancellations and schedule changes, and that no new UAE-wide guidance had been issued; a ballistic missile aimed at Riyadh was intercepted early on 26 October, a day after its airport reopened (see the Saudi Arabia thread). Lufthansa Group's return to Dubai remains postponed to 25 November, Austrian Airlines is listed from 12 December and British Airways is due back on 3 November, while flights by Iranian airlines remain suspended until further notice. Residents with a Malaysia holiday booked on Air Arabia's Kuala Lumpur service, or flying to Salalah, should confirm the flight with the airline before leaving for the airport, and an unresolved complaint about a cancellation can be taken to the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority within 14 days.
