Editorial policy for the travel advisories

How the advisories on this website are written, sourced and corrected.

Trip Station Tourism publishes travel advisories for travellers from the United Arab Emirates and from Pakistan: visa and entry rules, airport and flight disruption, and official guidance for the destinations its clients travel to most. They are published by Trip Station Tourism L.L.C and Trip Station Tourism (Private) Limited, the two companies that trade as Trip Station Tourism, to help clients plan with current information. They are not paid for by any airline, government or supplier, and the companies take no payment for mentioning any organisation in them.

Who writes them

Each update is signed by the member of the team responsible for it. On the UAE site the updates are written by Amer Riaz, Director & Partner of Trip Station Tourism L.L.C. On the Pakistan site they are written by Mohsin Amer Riaz, Director Operations & Compliance of Trip Station Tourism (Private) Limited. Where another member of the team writes an update, that person is named on it. The team is listed on the About page of the UAE site and the About page of the Pakistan site.

How an update is researched

The advisories are checked every day, and the date of the last check is shown on every advisory page. Each update rests on official statements and on reporting by established news organisations, and names its sources: the publisher, the author or desk, and a link to the article. An update states what its sources reported on the date shown; guidance that is not a formal rule, such as a figure quoted by travel agents, is attributed as guidance.

A development reported by a single outlet, or denied by the authority concerned, is not published until it is confirmed. Visa agency websites, aggregators and social media posts are not used as sources. The team does not predict decisions by immigration authorities, airlines or governments, and never states fees or processing times as facts.

How to read an advisory

Each destination has a thread with a status and a short summary of where things stand. The status is one of three: information, for a routine change; caution, for a new requirement or a situation that needs planning; and warning, where travel is restricted or advised against by an authority. Every update in a thread stays on record with its date, so the history of a development can be followed. Earlier updates are not rewritten when the position changes; a new update is added instead.

The advisories are general information for planning, not legal advice. Entry rules differ by passport and can change without notice, so the requirements for a trip are confirmed by the team, with the airline where needed, before anything is booked.

Corrections

If an update contains an error, please write to info@trip-station.com with the address of the page and the source that contradicts it. A correction is made on the article itself, and the date of the last check is updated. Where a correction changes the advice, a new update records the change.

Advisories last checked on 23 October 2026. Read the advisories for travellers from the UAE and the advisories for travellers from Pakistan.
