Singapore Airlines keeps Dubai suspended to February 2027

Singapore Airlines has extended its Dubai suspension to 28 February 2027, and Air Arabia cancelled Baku, Kuwait and London Gatwick flights on 30 October. The suspension covers the Singapore and Dubai flights SQ494 and SQ495: Singapore Airlines cited the situation in the Middle East, warned that other flights could be affected as the situation changes, and offers a full refund of the unused part of the ticket, requested through its online assistance form for direct bookings or through the travel agent or partner airline otherwise, Gulf News reported; its Dubai flights had last been listed to resume on 1 December, and Emirates continues to fly to Singapore. Gulf News's list for 30 October shows Air Arabia's Abu Dhabi flights to Baku, Dhaka, Kuwait and Salalah and its Sharjah flights to Dhaka, Najaf, Nairobi and London Gatwick and two Kuwait rotations cancelled, alongside its Riyadh, Dammam and Abha services, with no Bangkok, Malé, Colombo or Kuala Lumpur flight listed, unlike on 29 October; Gulf News notes that not every cancellation is linked to the regional situation, as some are operational or technical.

At Dubai International, three flynas departures to Riyadh and one to Gassim, SpiceJet's Ahmedabad, Kochi and Pune services, flydubai's arrivals from Moscow Vnukovo and Jeddah, Iraqi Airways from Sulaymaniyah and Emirates' EK158 from Stockholm were cancelled, and Emirates' arrivals from Moscow and San Francisco and three Aeroflot flights were delayed; at Zayed International, Etihad arrivals from Bali, London Heathrow, Tel Aviv and Charlotte and an airblue flight from Lahore were delayed. The National's survey of 30 October adds that KLM has paused its Dubai flights to 27 March 2027, Air France's Dubai suspension runs to 7 November, Lufthansa Group's Dubai return stands at 25 November, British Airways returns to Dubai on 3 November with one daily flight, ITA Airways' Dubai flights are suspended to 30 November, Cathay Pacific's to 31 January 2027, Finnair's and Air Canada's to the end of March 2027 and Virgin Atlantic's to October 2027, and Wizz Air has cancelled its Abu Dhabi and Dubai flights for the winter season. Gulf News's briefing of 30 October said UAE airspace is open and Dubai International is operating at full capacity, that flights by Iranian airlines to and from the UAE and the Emirates and flydubai codeshare to Tel Aviv remain suspended until further notice, and that no new air-defence incident had been reported inside the country; residents are advised to follow the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority and the police if an alert sounds and to stay away from any fallen debris. flydubai has cancelled its Riyadh, Dammam and Abha flights to 5 November, and two missiles aimed at Riyadh were intercepted on the evening of 29 October (see the Saudi Arabia thread).

Residents booked to Singapore on Singapore Airlines, to Azerbaijan on Air Arabia's Baku service, or to Kuwait, Salalah or London Gatwick, should confirm the flight with the airline or ask for rebooking before leaving for the airport, and an unresolved complaint about a cancellation can be taken to the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority within 14 days.
