airblue's Karachi flights were cancelled at Dubai on 3 November, and two PIA flights at Abu Dhabi were delayed by more than five hours. Gulf News's list for Tuesday 3 November, updated at 10.05am, shows airblue's flight PA110 from Karachi and the return PA111 among the cancelled arrivals and departures at Dubai International, PIA's flight PK217 from Peshawar delayed on arrival at Zayed International from 2.40pm to 8pm, and PIA's flight PK262 to Islamabad delayed from 3.40pm to 8.50pm. No Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Faisalabad or Quetta flight appeared in the list at the time of that update, and AirSial's Islamabad cancellation of 2 November was not repeated. flydubai's suspension of its Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar flights was due to end on 26 October; by 3 November no announcement from the airline confirming the restart had been published in the UAE or Pakistani press, and its travel updates page again could not be opened for this check, so passengers from those three cities should confirm with flydubai or their travel agent that the flight is operating before paying for a ticket.
Gulf News advises passengers to check their flight status with the airline before going to the airport, to allow extra time for airport procedures, not to assume that a flight shown without a status is cancelled, and to contact the airline directly about rebooking or a refund. PIA's Riyadh flights remain suspended with no date, and drones were intercepted over the Riyadh and Makkah regions on 2 and 3 November (see the Saudi Arabia thread). Confirm your flight with the airline before leaving for the airport.
