Islamabad, Lahore and Multan flights cancelled on 1 November

Fly Jinnah's Islamabad and Lahore flights at Sharjah and Air Arabia's Multan flights were cancelled on 1 November, and an Etihad Peshawar flight was delayed. Gulf News's list for Sunday 1 November, updated at 11.17am, shows, under Air Arabia's Sharjah services, flight 9P743 from Islamabad to Sharjah cancelled, with the outbound 9P742 to Islamabad not yet departed at the time of the update, and flights 9P505 and 9P504 between Sharjah and Lahore cancelled; the 9P flights carry Fly Jinnah's code. Air Arabia Abu Dhabi's flights 3L335 and 3L336 between Abu Dhabi and Multan were cancelled in both directions, the fourth time since 23 October, and Etihad's flight EY277 from Abu Dhabi to Peshawar was delayed from 11am to 11.40am.

No Karachi, Sialkot, Faisalabad or Quetta flight appeared among the cancellations or delays at Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah, and Emirates' Peshawar and Sialkot flights, cancelled on 29 October, were not listed again; the cancellations listed at Dubai International were Riyadh Air, flynas and Saudia flights serving Riyadh and Gassim, an Iraqi Airways flight serving Kirkuk and a SpiceJet flight serving Mumbai. Gulf News notes that not all of these disruptions are related to the conflict or the regional security situation, and advises passengers to confirm their flight status and their rebooking or refund options with the airline before travelling, because dates may change. flydubai's suspension of its Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar flights was due to end on 26 October; by 1 November no announcement from the airline confirming the restart had been published in the UAE or Pakistani press, and its travel updates page again could not be opened for this check, so passengers from those three cities should confirm with flydubai or their travel agent that the flight is operating before paying for a ticket. Gulf News's briefing of 1 November said UAE airports report higher seat capacity as airlines prepare for winter demand, that some airlines have postponed their planned returns while British Airways is scheduled to resume Dubai flights on 3 November, and that passengers should confirm timings with their airline before leaving for the airport; it cited no new guidance from the UAE government for visitors.

PIA's Riyadh flights remain suspended with no date, and Gulf News's briefing of the evening of 31 October recorded no Saudi interception after the drone destroyed over the Riyadh region that morning, with none reported in its briefing of 1 November (see the Saudi Arabia thread). Confirm your flight with the airline before leaving for the airport.
