AirSial Islamabad flight cancelled at Dubai on 2 November

AirSial's flight PF784 serving Islamabad was cancelled at Dubai on 2 November, and airblue and Etihad flights on the Islamabad and Lahore routes were delayed. Gulf News's list for Monday 2 November, updated at 7.23am, shows PF784 among the cancelled departures at Dubai International, airblue's flight PA211 serving Islamabad delayed from 5am to 6.15am, and Etihad's flight EY285 from Lahore delayed on arrival at Zayed International from 7am to 7.45am. No Karachi, Peshawar, Sialkot, Multan, Faisalabad or Quetta flight appeared in the list at the time of that update, and the Fly Jinnah and Air Arabia Abu Dhabi cancellations of 1 November were not repeated. flydubai's suspension of its Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar flights was due to end on 26 October; by 2 November no announcement from the airline confirming the restart had been published in the UAE or Pakistani press, and its travel updates page again could not be opened for this check, so passengers from those three cities should confirm with flydubai or their travel agent that the flight is operating before paying for a ticket.

Gulf News's briefing of the evening of 1 November said international airlines are gradually restoring Dubai services while some still suspend or cancel routes, and its list of 2 November advises passengers to confirm their flight, airport and terminal with the airline, to allow extra time for check-in, and to contact the airline about rebooking or a refund if a flight is cancelled. PIA's Riyadh flights remain suspended with no date, and a ballistic missile and a drone aimed at southern Saudi Arabia were intercepted on 1 November (see the Saudi Arabia thread). Confirm your flight with the airline before leaving for the airport.
