Emirates first Jeddah rotation cancelled for a fourth day

Emirates' first Jeddah rotation was cancelled a fourth day on 2 November, and a missile and a drone were intercepted over the south on 1 November. Gulf News's list for Monday 2 November shows Emirates' Dubai to Jeddah flight EK801 and the return EK802 cancelled while EK803 to EK806 are scheduled, every Dubai flight to Riyadh (EK815, EK817 and EK819) and Dammam (EK821, EK823 and EK827) and their returns cancelled, and its Madinah flights listed as scheduled or arrived. flydubai cancelled its Dammam, Riyadh, Abha and Tabuk flights on 2 November, while its Jeddah flights FZ829 to FZ832, FZ909 and FZ910 and its Madinah, Gassim, Ha'il and Taif flights were listed as scheduled, estimated or arrived. Gulf News again notes that no status was available for several other Saudi routes, including AlUla, Neom, Red Sea and Yanbu, which does not by itself mean cancellation.

Etihad's Abu Dhabi flights to Riyadh and Dammam and its EY601 to EY604 Jeddah services remain cancelled through 5 November, and Air Arabia's Sharjah flights to Riyadh and Abha were cancelled. At Dubai International, flynas flights including XY215 from Riyadh and XY205 serving Gassim and Riyadh Air's RX241 and RX243 were cancelled, and Saudia's Jeddah flights SV590 and SV591 were delayed. Anadolu Agency reports that the coalition spokesman, Turki al-Maliki, announced the interception of a ballistic missile and a drone aimed at the south on Sunday 1 November, naming no target and reporting no casualties or damage, after warnings for Abha and Khamis Mushait that were later lifted and a coalition operation against Houthi missile and drone resources; these reports appeared after this thread's update of 1 November, which recorded no interception since 31 October.

British Airways' Riyadh date now differs between sources: Gulf News's list gives one daily flight from 3 November, while TTG reported on 30 October that the airline has scheduled Riyadh to resume on 11 January 2027, so passengers should confirm with British Airways. Among other airlines, Akasa Air's Jeddah flights are suspended to 18 November and Riyadh to 30 November, IndiGo's Saudi flights are cancelled to 14 November, Philippine Airlines' Riyadh flights are suspended to 29 November, Lufthansa's Riyadh flights to 18 November and Dammam to 30 November, KLM's Riyadh and Dammam flights to 27 November, Air France's Riyadh flights to 14 November, and Eurowings' Jeddah service is due on 12 November. Residents travelling for Umrah should confirm their flight to Jeddah or Madinah with the airline before leaving for the airport, treat Emirates' Jeddah schedule as subject to change, and follow Civil Defence alerts while in the Kingdom.
