King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah has moved the flights that operated from its North Terminal to the new Terminal 4 and to the Hajj and Umrah terminals, with effect from 17 October, according to a passenger advisory reported by Khaleej Times. The airport operator's plan, set out when Terminal 4 opened on 27 September, is to relocate every foreign airline from the North Terminal in stages, together with selected carriers from Terminal 1 and the Hajj and Umrah terminals; Terminal 4 has a group check-in area for pilgrims. The change is a planned move and is not connected to the attacks.
Residents returning from Umrah through Jeddah should check their departure terminal on the airport's website or with their airline before travelling to the airport.
