Oman now offers a free 14-day tourist visa to nationals of designated countries, and UAE residents should confirm whether their passport qualifies. The visa was created by Royal Oman Police Decision No. 109/2026, published in the Official Gazette on 2 August and in force from 3 August, according to Gulf News and Khaleej Times.
Gulf News's report of 2 August said the list of eligible nationalities had not been published, and its overview of 30 October says eligibility depends on the nationalities and conditions set by the authority. The reports describe the visa by nationality and do not refer to residence in the UAE. Holders may move to another tourist visa before the free visa expires, subject to that category's requirements and fees.
