Where things stand

Dammam attacked, Riyadh limited

Dammam's airport was attacked on 21 October, with two people killed, and reopened the next day according to Saudi Arabia's civil aviation authority. Riyadh's airport handles only a limited number of Saudi domestic flights, each with prior permission, PIA's Riyadh flights remain suspended with no date to resume, and Etihad's connections from Abu Dhabi to Riyadh, Dammam and four Jeddah services are cancelled through 5 November. Other flights from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia operate according to the Pakistan Airports Authority's last statement; confirm your flight and your routing to Makkah before travelling. Flights that used Jeddah's North Terminal moved to Terminal 4 and the Hajj and Umrah terminals on 17 October.
