Three drones were intercepted over Saudi Arabia on 3 November, including one over the Makkah region, and PIA's Riyadh flights remain suspended with no date. The coalition spokesman, Turki al-Maliki, announced the interception of a drone over the Makkah region on the morning of Tuesday 3 November, a second over the Eastern Province that evening and a third launched towards the south, according to Arab News and Anadolu Agency; none of the reports mentions casualties or damage. Anadolu Agency reports that the Houthi spokesman, Yahya Saree, denied that the group carried out any operation against Saudi territory that day, while The Express Tribune, citing Reuters and Anadolu Agency, reports that he had earlier claimed a drone attack on Abha airport and a missile strike on the air base at Khamis Mushait, claims that Saudi authorities have not confirmed.
Gulf News's list for 3 November showed PIA's Riyadh services temporarily suspended with no resumption date, and no announcement of a restart had been found by 4 November; the Pakistan Airports Authority's last statement said PIA's other Saudi services continue. For pilgrims connecting through the UAE, Etihad has cancelled its Abu Dhabi flights to Riyadh and Dammam through 19 November and resumes its four cancelled Jeddah flights, EY601 to EY604, on 6 November, Gulf News reports, and flydubai has extended its Riyadh, Dammam and Abha cancellations to 9 November while continuing to fly to Jeddah, Madinah, Taif, Tabuk, Al Qassim and Ha'il, according to Dubai Eye 103.8. Confirm your flight, your terminal at Jeddah and your onward transport to Makkah with the airline or your Umrah operator before leaving for the airport, and follow Civil Defence alerts while in the Kingdom.
