Flights that used the North Terminal at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah moved to the new Terminal 4 and to the Hajj and Umrah terminals from 17 October, according to a passenger advisory from the airport reported by Khaleej Times. The airport operator's plan, announced when Terminal 4 opened on 27 September, is to move every foreign airline out of the North Terminal in stages, along with selected carriers from Terminal 1 and the Hajj and Umrah terminals; Fly Jinnah moved from the Hajj and Umrah terminals to Terminal 4 on 28 September, and Terminal 4 has a group check-in area for pilgrims. The change is a planned move and is not connected to the attacks.
Pakistani pilgrims flying into or out of Jeddah should ask their airline or their Umrah operator which terminal their flight uses before travelling to the airport.
